East (Ste. Marie Street to Ste. Paul Street) Sanitary Renewal Project This project involved full reconstruction with new sanitary sewer including services to the property line, new watermain upgrades including services to the property line, and drainage improvements within the project limits including storm sewer and curb and gutter. The construction contract was substantially completed by December 1, 2025 and the two-year warranty period is in effect. Tenth Line and Sixth Street Roundabout The County of Simcoe is constructing a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of County Road 32 and Sixth Street in Collingwood. Benefits of the roundabout include improved traffic flow, increased traffic capacity, and enhanced safety due to lower vehicle speeds and fewer vehicle conflict points. The Town of Collingwood is coordinating with the County to install watermain through the intersection. Visit this site for project updates and more information. Third Street Urbanization and Bridge Rehabilitation The work included urbanization and the replacement of the watermain and sanitary sewer systems; renewal of water and sanitary services to the property line; storm sewer upgrades, concrete curb and gutter and new sidewalks; asphalt paving of the roadway; restoration of driveways and boulevards; bridge repairs and upgrades between Oak Street and Birch Street.
